Abstract

This article deals with the issues of reshaping the model of China’s economic development and its changing role in the world. Theoretical aspects of foreign trade activity and its features in China are studied. The author assesses the current state of China’s foreign trade activities under the trade war unleashed by the United States. The causes of confrontation that have become challenges to the system of regulation of multilateral trade relations are analyzed. Changes in US – China trade aft er introduction of tariff barriers. Statistical data characterizing the current state of export volumes and trade turnover are presented. Promising areas for the development of China’s foreign trade with Russia are suggested.
