Abstract

Given the changing world order, to turn the situation around Russia and India undertook efforts to develop relations in such sectors as defence and energy in 2018-2019. The article analyzes the development of relations between the Republic of India and the Russian Federation since the informal summit in Sochi in 2018 and the annual summit in Russia in 2019. Special attention is paid to the historical aspect of the trade-economic and political cooperation between Russia and India, key areas for strategic economic dialogue, analysis of foreign trade indicators, export and import commodity classification.
