Abstract

Russia has been consistently liberalizing its foreign trade. Th e novelties in the currency control legislation that came into force on 1 January 2020 aff ect the foreign trade contract and its elements. Besides, amendments to articles 15.25 Of the Code of Administrative Off ences (CAO) and 193 of the Criminal Code (CC) of the Russian Federation that facilitated liberalization of the currency control should significantly improve foreign trade practices.
