Abstract

A review of the current state of the global oil and petroleum market is given in the article as well as Russia’s role in this market. The author presents countries allocation of global oil reserves, oil production and crude oil export, names the countries-leaders in oil refining, reveals the data concerning Russia’s exports of Urals brand oil and this oil refining products over the past five years. Besides, estimates of global oil and petroleum market growth prospects are given in the article. In this respect, the author draws conclusions in the context of Russia’s economic interests support.
