Abstract

The article deals with the main factors shaping the global economic and commodity conditions in 2019 and in the medium term, highlights prospects for international trade and key commodity markets. The key issues and risks in the development of the global economy and its largest markets – American, European, Chinese – are shown. Special attention is paid to growing conflicts in the international trading system and the resulting risks for Russia, the development and likely consequences of the “great trade war” between the US and China that began in 2018 and passed in 2019, as well as the assessment of the situation in the regulation of the global oil market due to the possible weakening of the OPEC oil cartel.
