Abstract

The article analyzes the changes and structure of Russia’s imports from the Socialist Republic of Vietnam after signing the Free Trade Agreement between the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and the SRV. The authors present the data illustrating the direct correlation between the EAEU’s reduction in import tariffs under this Agreement and the growth of Vietnam’s exports to the Russian Federation by certain commodity groups. Promising areas for the development of trade relations between the two countries, in particular Russia’s imports, are characterized in the article.
