Abstract

The article deals with controversial results of Russia’s exports in 2015. Issues of exports’ macroeconomic importance, product, geographical and by participant diversification of exports, as well as engagement in export activity of small and medium-size enterprises, are analyzed. The article also presents dynamic and structural changes in exports, new phenomena and processes in this field. Focus is made on contemporary value and quantitative characteristics of non raw materials exports along major analytical commodity groups: foodstuffs, wood, pulp and paper products, chemical goods, metal products, machinery and equipment. Geographical breakdown of exports, as well as growing and decreasing country markets are indicated.
