Abstract

Several dimensions characterize the world agricultural markets: openness of access to information on trade policy measures for economic entities of different types; transparency in the use of land, water and other resources; openness of business processes and conditions for the sale of food and agricultural raw materials; availability of data on production volume, consumption, trade and others. Digital transformation of the world agricultural system has brought a technological opportunity to increase market environment transparency through the extensive development of open-source digital information platforms. Their functioning changes the competition conditions in agricultural markets.
