New aspects of exchange control foreign trade

Abstract

The article deals with further changes in the currency legislation eff ective from October 1, 2012 aft er adoption of Bank of Russia Instruction No. 138-I of June 4, 2012. Th e article analyses the changes in the foreign exchange controls over transactions between foreign trade parties. The author reviews one of the basic documents of the foreign exchange controls - “Foreign exchange transaction form”. Not only does the current version of this document refl ect the fl ow of funds, as it did before, but also allows the foreign exchange control agents to increase their effi ciency, and to combat capital fl ight more rigorously.
