Abstract

In this article the role of a region in the foreign economic activity of the country is considered. Basic conditions of the development of such activity at regional level are studied. Th e assessment of competitive position of regions is given and principles of the formation of a strategy for regulating foreign economic activity at regional level are offered. In the structure of the strategy concept tasks, methods and directions in regulation of regional exports and imports are outlined.
