Abstract

The article assesses the world energy market situation aggravated by unstable political environment (notably in the energy-signifi cant Middle East), by distortions in the traditional structure of international energy market as well as by consequences of natural and technical disasters. Special attention is paid to the production of shale gas and renewables.
