Abstract

Russia identifies itself as a member of BRIC group countries. Its economic development is based on exports of energy resources.
Thus Russia diff ers from other BRIC countries that specialize on exports of manufactured goods. This results in unstable economic growth depending on oil prices. To improve the situation Russia must develop new spheres of international division of labor.
