Abstract

The article considers the geographical distribution of foreign trade of Russia, which is overly focused on Europe. Dependence on trade with the EU became redundant in nature, the possibility of its expansion is limited. The need for diversification has become urgent. For the Asia-Pacific region is turning into a major center of world economic development, the most promising is the eastern vector. The pace of growth in trade exchange with Russia is well ahead of other Asia Pacific regions, especially fast growing wind farm between Russia and the leading participants of APEC and, above all with China. The commodity composition of trade in the eastern vector is changing significantly.
