Abstract

The article is devoted to the analysis of the impact of the global hydrocarbons markets transformation on oil and gas exports of from the Arab countries for the last decade. Special attention is paid to studying changes in world production, consumption of hydrocarbons, their exports and imports. At the same time, particular emphasis is placed on examination of the processes developing in the energy sector of the Middle East and North Africa region. The author focuses also on the main development trends in the global energy sector and the international hydrocarbons trade predicted by the experts of the International Energy Agency for the coming 25 years. However, significant transformation of the world hydrocarbons markets already has serious implications for Arab producers and exporters of oil and gas.
