Abstract

The article is devoted to the current challenges in customs valuation and its control. Scientific and practical definitions of the category as well as its short history retrospective are given in the article. The author draws special attention to the control mechanism of customs valuation. The research of the outlined issues is made on the basis of Ukraine’s experience in customs activities.
