Abstract

Trade in environmental goods is one of the major spheres of the EAEU-EU economic cooperation in terms of environment, although at present environmental goods account for relatively marginal share in the overall EAEU-EU merchandise trade. Imports from the EU secure the major part of the EAEU-EU mutual trade in environmental goods. Yet, EAEU-EU mutual trade in environmental goods has generally performed better than that of the overall merchandise trade. Besides, EAEU-EU mutual trade has seen a rise in the EAEU exports of environmental goods that might contribute to the EAEU-EU green economy cooperation.
