The article analyzes the main trends in the trade of agro-food products within and outside the Eurasian Economic Union over the past three years (2020-2022), which are marked by the phenomenon of lockdowns and geopolitical tensions. It is revealed that the intra-EAEU trade in 2021 exceeded the pre-pandemic volumes while maintaining the priority of trade with third countries. The factors of intra-union trade expansion are stated and the prospects for trade outside the economic integration bloc are outlined, taking into account the expansion of anti-Russian sanctions. The ways to overcome the restrictive practices of the Western countries in terms of trade in agrifood products and related goods are outlined.
