The article summarizes the main areas of formation and development of engineering (engineering consulting) services, released in the last decade as an independent sphere of services in the global market and reveals the role, value and performance of the leading engineering companies in the U.S., Germany, Britain, Canada and other countries in the development of investment projects abroad, showing the status and development.
