Abstract

The article contains the analysis of national oil industries for both leading petroleum exporters and importers. In addition the author examines dynamics of key market player’s external trade in oil in 2000’s and outlines geographical changes in petroleum traffic. The main factors influencing the evolution of the present world oil market are also given in the article. Special attention is paid to the influence of global economic crisis on international oil trade trends.
