Abstract

A review of the current Russian-South African trade and economic relations is given in the article. The dynamics of Russian-South African trade turnover for the last fifteen years, the structure of Russia’s goods exports to South Africa and imports from South Africa are also given in the article. The authors reveal the data concerning the basic parameters of Russian-South African trade distributed over the Federal districts of RF, identify the certain bottlenecks to increasing bilateral trade. The main ways of improving Russian-South African trade and economic relations are also characterized in the article.
