Abstract

At the background of the structural changes in the world fuel consumption during the last century - a gradual progress of the natural gas market is regarded by experts as that of the fuel of the XXI century. The growing international gas trade in LNG state (making up to 1\3 of the total gas trade) makes it possible to breakthrough the limits of pipeline-served clusters to a flexible intercontinental trade – to the whole world market. In view of the diversification of imports’ policy conducted by the European countries and a possible demand in the Asian markets - Russia should speed up its LNG exports and moreover – accept a new model of national gas policy.
