Abstract

Similar fiscal instruments dominate in government regulation of oil and gas industry either in the US or Russia with the incentives for production growth in both countries appear to be low effective. Corporate strategists do not consider government regulation as top priority factor. At the same time there’s clear correlation between oil prices and oil production dynamics both in the US and Russia.
