FIATA forwarding documents in international and foreign trade

Abstract

In the article, the role of international freight forwarding services in international movement is considered and the value of freight forwarding for Russia’s foreign trade is estimated. The three main functions of freight forwarding are: interaction between the customer and all the participants
of transportation/supply chain process; confirmation of the contractual relationship: confirmation of delivery of the goods for the international banking system. The problems of regulation of the Russian market of forwarding services are revealed. The role, place and value of FIATA freight forwarding documents in international trade in goods and services are defined. The purposes and functions of FIATA freight forwarding documents are defined.
