Abstract

The article analyzes the current state and future directions of bilateral cooperation between the Russian Federation and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. To strengthen the position of Russia in Southeast Asia there is a need to streamline bilateral economic relations with the countries of the region. Factors affecting the development of mutually beneficial cooperation should be analyzed. This fully applies to the research of Russian-Vietnamese relations, which, being broken in the early 90’s, are gradually gaining a positive trend and have significant potential.
