Abstract

The US energy policy was in the centre of political battles of main US political parties. Regulatory measures, introduced in the US fuel market both by Republicans and Democrats, mainly had aspects of political ideology but the Government strategy for the development of this particular industry was not clear. The article reviews negative effects of such decisions on the US fuel market.
