The current state of Russian-Swiss trade and economic relations

Abstract

The article is devoted to the current state and prospects for development of trade and economic relations between Russia and Switzerland; evaluation of Switzerland’s place in the system of foreign economic relations of Russia; analysis of the structure of Russian-Swiss trade, highlighting the main import and export commodity items and the factors that influence the development of bilateral trade. The author assesses investment cooperation and the state of the legal framework for bilateral cooperation in the economic sphere, pointing out the main institutional forms of cooperation between Russia and Switzerland. Prospective directions for the development of trade and economic relations with the priorities of Russia’s economic development are given.
