Транспортный фактор – основа межрегиональных грузопотоков

Abstract

The centers of growth and economic integration of the world economic system - Europe, Asia, America - form together a geo-strategic triangle of the XXI century. This triangle makes up the main commodity and cash flows. Those centers represent for Russia the priority directions of foreign economic relations, in particular the implementation of transportation facilities. Moreover, a substantial and increasing over the time part of the demand for cross-country and inter-continental transport will be met mainly by rail, and the role of Russia, with its «transit potential» and the presence of Trans-Siberian Railway will be essential.
