Abstract

The article is devoted to the issue of public procurement, which is a relevant way to stimulate innovative demand. This tool of state policy is of high potential and many development strategies both at the level of the European Union and at the level of the certain countries reflect it. Besides the public procurement, the article deals with other instruments of supporting innovations: legal support, stimulation of researches at universities and institutes, research and development subsidizing. The author carries out a comparative analysis of the foregoing innovation policy tools.
