Use of the EU experience for creating a single road transport space in the EAEU

Abstract

A single road transport space is planned to be created in the EAEU. Formation of a single market for road transport services requires an analysis and evaluation of the best practices of forming such market structures and institutions. The author reviews and analyzes the experience of the establishment and operation of such a market in the EU. The main issue is the share of international road carriers in the common road transport market. The author also studies various indicators of the EU road transport market, the framework of different legislative and economic regulators, and the possibility of using the experience of the EU for creating a similar single road transport space.
