Abstract

With globalization underway, economic efficiency and competitiveness of a country becomes impossible without integration into the global economy. Not only does integration within NAFTA lead to growth of industrial production but also supports increase of share of high-tech products in it. In general, trade volumes, foreign direct investment and employment levels are growing in all three NAFTA countries. Therefore, NAFTA is referred to as a good example of successful economic integration.
