Abstract

The article is devoted to trade and economic cooperation between Russia and France during the last decade, including the periods of increase and decline. The article analyzes the changes in trade and foreign direct investment and the impact of the worsening economic relations amid sanctions. The author reveals that far from leaving the Russian market, French companies start investing in the new projects. The article also pays attention to comparison of different statistic sources. The article analyzes the general trade in goods and shows the changes in the structure of exports and imports. Examples of the new bilateral projects in the context of sanctions.
