В статье проводится анализ актуальных аспектов развития современного рынка мебели. Делается вывод о том, что трансформация мирового мебельного рынка, начавшаяся на рубеже ХХ и ХХI веков, продолжает иметь место в настоящее время. Выявляются современные особенности производства, потребления и международной торговли мебелью, характеризуются мебельные рынки отдельных стран и рынок России. Обозначены благоприятные тенденции импортозамещения в потреблении мебели в России. В качестве ведущих факторов, определяющих современное развитие мирового рынка мебели, указываются технологические сдвиги в производстве, рост объемов электронной торговли, вопросы экологической безопасности, геополитические факторы.

The article analyzes the current problems of the modern furniture market development. It is concluded that a transformation of the world furniture market, which began at the turn of the 20th and 21st centuries, continues at the present time. The article reveals modern features of production, consumption and international trade in furniture, characterizes the furniture markets of individual countries and the Russian furniture market. Favorable trends in import substitution in furniture consumption in Russia are identified. Technological shifts in production, growth in e-commerce, environmental safety issues, and geopolitical factors are indicated as the leading factors determining the modern development of the world furniture market.
